Inspired by the movie Martyrs (2008) and the idea of troubled children bearing the weight of the misdeeds of people who failed them. Whew, that was a mouthful. These two are meant to match – isn’t that cute?

I love looking at artworks where the canvas and medium are trying to eat the subject alive, or leaving it to rot (insert “decomposition” joke here). Alternate title: Flesh and the Devil 2.

Fortnight Elegies (Unfinished Video, 2024)

Taylor Swift is the last person that should be here, of course. But I did think that her music video for Fortnight had the potential to be reinterpreted as a macabre silent film. (The music, not so much.)

Extracts from a “zine” I made to “ameliorate” a particularly bad “mental health episode.” I don’t think it helped at all. It goes without saying that these need a trigger warning.
